About the tiny studio
tinystudio.fm is a workshop for people making real music with Suno. Not "content" — songs. The kind you play for someone and watch their face.
Who this is for
Musicians and songwriters who treat Suno as an instrument, not a slot machine. If you care whether the second chorus lands, whether the vocal suits the lyric, and whether the finished track is something you'd put your name on, you're the reader we write for. Total beginners are welcome; every production term gets explained the moment it appears.
Why it exists
Most writing about AI music is either hype or dismissal. Almost none of it helps you at the moment that actually matters: your song is nearly right, something specific is wrong, and you want an honest answer about what can and can't be controlled. That's the gap this site works in.
What it covers
Four workbenches: getting the sound (prompting, vocals, structure, exclusions), Studio & finishing (edits, cleanup, stems, DAW handoff), rights & money (what you can sell and where, in plain English), and new features (what shipped and whether it's worth your credits). How guides are made
Every guide here is written by a working songwriter who uses Suno to produce and release actual records. Advice draws on hands-on experience, Suno's own documentation, and what has consistently worked for the wider creator community: the best available knowledge, explained so a beginner can follow along. When Suno changes
If something stops working after an update, we fix the guide or take it down. Version-dependent guides carry a version label, and meaningful revisions carry a visible updated date, so you always know what era of Suno you're reading about.
What we don't claim
No hype, no "10 INSANE prompts," no guarantees. Generative models are probabilistic; the same prompt can produce different results, and some problems don't have a reliable fix. When that's the case, we say so. Nothing on the Rights & money workbench is legal advice.
